Say Their Name

We will never stop talking about them.

We need to remember because the memories are all we have left.

We need you to remember them too.

Talk about them.

Share a memory, tell a story.

It doesn’t hurt us to hear you talk about them.

It’s the silence that hurts most of all.

Say. Their. Name.

  7. Joni, you are so correct, and expressing wisdom. When a Loved One passes away, it is not as if they never existed. It is important to keep their memory alive, remember the good times, share them and laugh with others about humorous situations. Some may not have been humorous at the time, as each of us have those, but in retrospect we are able to laugh.
Keeping the memory of a Loved One in conversations is also important, as it shows the person had value, was cared for, made a difference in the lives of others. A person is not like an old pair of boots that get worn out, and discarded.
If a person is not thought of and memories not shared, it causes thoughts wondering if anyone cared for that person, or was he similar to a piece of furniture, usefulness gone, discarded, and not thought of any longer.
You are amazing Joni. God Bless you and your family. Praying for each of you, and that 2019 will be a Blessed, Healthy, Prosperous year, in the way God sees and gives Prosperity.
